Kuhns Bros. have a number of plans already designed, many of which can be found here on their website.  We recognize the fact that these may not meet your needs, and that is why we are committed to providing you with the ability to customize plans already created, or creating an entirely new plan.  A "boiler-plate" approach to home design is certainly not what you deserve in designing your dream home.

Many homes are created from several plans that meet your needs.  Through many months of discussion and compromise, the home that we built is actually a completely customized model.  As a result, you will received the exact home you wanted...not a compromise. 

It is important to seriously consider what you want in your new home.  Remember a log home can have the same amenities that a conventional construction home has (such as Jacuzzis, skylights, etc.)  Make a list of "must haves", "want to haves", and "would like to haves", so that, as you go through the process, you have a good idea where you are willing to  compromise.  Ultimately you will most likely have to make some compromises, but you must insure that you get all of your "must haves" in the house, or else, you will regret it later.
